I have compiled Disko successfully with xine backend.

Also I try my app with the example code in playing a mp4 video,

but there is a problem about the video as attached,



The left side is the screen from disko window and the right side is the screen from normally player, but I don't know why?

Here are some conditions about my environment.

1.xine-lib-1.1.18.1

2.logfile


3.source code is the same with the tutorial in windows & layer

4.I have tried another type of video such like m2v but still the same.

5.Also I modify the value of [videolayerpixelformat] & [graphicslayerpixelformat] in diskorc.xml is still not work.

6.The sound is work correctly.

Hi Bermuda,

looks as if the there is a mismatch with the color planes from the source to the target surface. Could you try to change the settings in your diskorc.xml for the XV backend and YV12 as target pixelformat.

If you have problems with that, just post your diskorc.xml, and we will help you with the settings.

Nevertheless it seems like a bug in our xine backend.

(Perhaps u may rename the file to *.xml @@)

I try to modify the backend to XV.

with the error message is

RcParser exception: wrong value 'xv' for parameter 'backend'
valid value(s): DFB, X11, FBDEV

Hi Bermuda,

sorry, my fault... backend should be X11 and outputtype XVSHM.
Graphicslayer and videolayer pixelformat should be YV12.

You should stick to xine for the time beeing. Is it not starting or is it giving the same colors?

If it does not start, is there any message on the console?
