Thank you for your reply.
That was one of the things I tried but it does not seam to work. What happens is that when I specify a bgcolor for the MMSArrow , I get that color all over the area allocated to the Widget (inside and outside de arrow itself). So basically the result is that my arrow becomes a filled rectangle.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I am not sure if I understood exactly what you asked me to test.
Nevertheless, attached follows is a simple test application that tries to set both a bgcolor and a bgimage for two MMSArrow widgets. I hope it clarifies my point.

Hi André,
now I get it. You are getting a solid arrow instead of the just line drawn. This feature is currently missing As is said we usually use the bgimages for arrows. Just set the color and selcolor to "#00000000" to have only the bgimage drawn. I attached your test with the updated test-arrow.xml.
