Make halplugin to support mdev in busybox 6 Years, 7 Months ago

Hi, Guido,
In embedded application, most use mdev built in busybox to support hotplug. So could halplugin to support mdev machanism, not only hal/dbus facility?

Hi Alan,
we are looking for alternatives to hal/dbus as well, because we need it for another project. So mdev will be a good starting point. But I don't think it'll make it into the disko framework.
Maybe we'll provide some code as an example plugin to show you how to use mdev, but this will take some time.
