How do i set a background image 6 Years ago  
I want to set a background image but always get an error:

Error: cannot read external file blafasel.png

What file types are allowed? JPG, PNG, ... ?
Must the file size fit the window size?

Hello Thomas,

please make sure your .png file has an alpha channel.
Currently only .png files are supported for background images. The file size does not have to fit the window size.

If your image has an alpha channel and is still not displayed, we need some more information e.g. where is this image set? Within a plugin, local theme, gobal theme ... ?
