xine/flash still work when using dfb backend 6 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi,

I noticed that when running live ISO from the http://23p.diskohq.org/, the console is first turn to FB mode then go into the X windows, so I assume that the demo is running on the X-backend. So is it possible to use DirectFB backend to do the same thing, like play video/flash?

One more thing for the flash, I was running on the VMware virtual machine, the flash seems freezing after showing the game, no matter what I clicked nothing happened.

Thanks,
Andy

yes, that's correct.

yes.

We use the swfdec library to play flash movies and this library is unstable. To play the Flash game of the 23p-Disko demo you have to press the "reset" button at first. After that you can play the flash game.
