We decided to skip the RC2 to have a full release ready within 2008 The new build system (scons) is now production ready, and the x11 backend is now stable.
Considering the features and performance improvements added since 1.1 this release is a true milestone to us.
This release is the first one, that will be maintained in parallel to the development branch, and thus can safely used within your applications.
The next big advancment now is focused on a better documentation of the framework. Please let us know if you have any experiences in disko you like to share with others, or any ideas what documentation is needed most.
